Introduction
With 10 stores in Australia, Glue Store brings some of the worlds most exclusive and funky men’s and women’s clothing brands, like Diesel, Converse, Bench, and Lacoste, to Australian shores.
The Challenge
Glue’s existing website had an awkward flash intro that made accessing the site annoying and at times even difficult. Additionally, the look & feel of the pages, branding etc of the website was not consistent and lacked the personality and style that Glue’s shop fronts, its retail staff and its clothing exude. Glue came to Zoogle Interactive looking for a complete new web presence.
The Process
Zoogle Interactive not only created a website for Glue Store, but made their products available across all of Australia and New Zealand for the first time. With stores located only in New South Wales and Victoria, (although Glue does have a national sponsorship deal with Eclipse Music TV), up until May 2006 their clothing was only available to customers from certain parts of Australia.
Zoogle Interactive provided Glue with a web solution that included integration with Zoogle’s Enterprise Grade Shopping Cart, making Glue’s exclusive brands available for the first time to other areas of Australia and all of New Zealand.
Additionally, the website was interfaced with their stock control system to ensure that the stock they are selling online is available for sale. Along with the web store, Zoogle Interactive also empowered Glue Store with our email marketing and SMS marketing technology, which has allowed Glue to grow their database & communicate to their customers about sales, competitions, and other offers.
The Result
Glue Store now has a funky, informative website that is consistent with their in-store branding and also provides them with ability to sell their product online to Australian & New Zealand customers via their new shopping cart.
Additionally, Glue Store can now communicate regularly (at least twice a month) with their members, which in turn builds up customer loyalty by offering members with exclusive specials, invitations to Clubs in Sydney & Melbourne and information about the latest fashion trends.
